The count down to Bowl season puts the first game in 52 days, however the selections are on Dec 3, just 26 days, less than a month away.

On Nov. 7 around 7:30 p.m., the 2023 College Football Playoff committee announce the new rankings after the upsets this past weekend.

No 7 Texas remains at their same spot just one ahead of No 8 Alabama because Texas beat Alabama, the only team who has the season and it was in Tucsaloosa, which never happens for any team.

If the the Bowls started today, it is entirely possible Texas would play Alabama at DKR in the first round. That would be one enormous game. DKR would bust open.

Oklahoma dropped to No 17 behind No 16 Kansas who beat them two games ago. It would have been an galatic rematch to see Texas and Oklahoma battle for the Big 12 Championship title.
