No. 12 Texas Women’s Basketball over No. 13 Baylor 67-55

WACO, Texas – Every win this season, Texas Women’s Basketball has won by double-digits and this game marks back-to-back wins in Waco for Texas. Madison Booker scored a game high 22 points, had four rebounds and three assists.

Aaliyah Moore was on fire producing 19 points for Texas and pulling down seven rebounds. Taylor Jones owned the boards in tonights game with a team high nine rebounds. It was a battle on the boards between Jones and Baylor’s Aijha Blocakwell who pulled down a game high 11 rebounds.

Overall, Texas had 38 rebounds to Baylor’s 34. 

Texas scored 38 points in the paint while Baylor high 21 points from three-point range. There were seven lead changes. Texas held the lead for 23:56 minutes.

Texas overall is now 20-3 and 7-3 in Big 12 Conference plays. Next up for Texas is No. 2 Kansas State back home in Austin, Texas at the Moody Center on Feb 4, (Sun) with a 1 PM tipoff.

Before Baylor Game Shay Holle and Vic Schaefer sit down with media. Shay Holle, while not showing big number, was instrumental in the game on defense with five steals.
