Injury Update: David Ash Will Not Travel To Iowa State

In the UT Athletic Department’s football Injury update prior to the Iowa State game tomorrow night it announced that junior quarterback David Ash will not travel to Iowa for the game.

 

Here is the Injury report:

Injury update from Texas Head Athletic Trainer for Football Kenny Boyd prior to Iowa State game: Junior QB David Ash (head), out; Junior OT Josh Cochran (shoulder), out; Senior WR Mike Davis (ankle), game-time decision.
Note: Ash and Cochran will not travel to Iowa State.
At Monday’s press conference, head coach Mack Brown said that if Ash was not available Case McCoy would be the starter, and Tyrone Swoopes would be the backup.
