Chiaka Ogbogu named to NCAA Division I All-Tournament Team

chiaka ogboguOKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Sophomore Chiaka Ogbogu was named to the NCAA Division I All-Tournament Team, the NCAA announced.

In Texas’ five tournament games, Ogbogu posted 50 kills on 89 attempts and had only six errors for a .494 hitting percentage.

She also led the team in blocks with 27 and was second in service aces with five.

In the Longhorns’ loss to BYU, Ogbogu had a career-high 14 kills on a .500 hitting percentage and also added six blocks, including two solo.

This is one of many awards for Ogbogu this postseason, as she was named First Team All-America, All-Big 12 First Team, All-Southwest Region Team and Minneapolis Regional All-Tournament Team.
