ORLANDO, Fla. – The game may not be different, but players certainly are.
Last week, first-year Texas women’s head coach Ryan Murphy walked into the locker room where his eight players were playing the video game, “Just Dance.”
“That was a pretty big adjustment,” Murphy said, laughing. “The guys definitely weren’t playing that in the locker room.”
Murphy said after being named the Longhorns’ women’s coach in May 2014 that “there are differences in men and women, but the game itself and how it’s played and what you’re trying to accomplish on a golf course is the same.”
That has turned out to be true.
