COBBS HAS SEEN action in 29 games on defense and special teams. He has started six [s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_level2)] games, but injuries continue to limit his college career. Last season, he played in the first 11 games before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

He made the switch from defensive  back to linebacker during spring 2011 and then missed the first six games of his sophomore season due to injury, but returned to play in the final seven.

Cobbs has always been a player on the cusp of greatness. He was a prep All-American, all-state, all-metro and all-district selection on offense and defense at Central High in Tulsa.

When healthy, Cobbs can punish the opponent. He has the speed to play on the edge and will remain in the linebacker rotation in 2013.
