WACO, Texas – No. 1 Texas Volleyball dominates No. 10 Baylor 3-0 Friday night to remain one of only two teams nationally to be undefeated. Louisville is also undefeated and ranked No. 2 behind Texas.
The picture above shows the power Brionne Butler has dominating with seven kills and six blocks in the match. Logan Eggleston had the most kills (13) , eight digs and two blocks as the leader, Skylar Fields had seven kills, three digs, and one block.
Asjia O’Neal contributed nine kills, three blocks and two service aces while Jhenna Gabriel had 38 assists, three blocks, one aces, and one dig.
Texas plays Baylor again Saturday evening at 6 p.m. again at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
While Texas is ranked No. 1 in the NCAA AVCA Coaches ranking, they are ranked No. 2 in the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Rating Percentage Index, or RPI. From the ACC conference, Pittsburgh (20-2) is ranked No. 1 and Louisville (12-0) is ranked No. 3 putting Big 12 Texas (18-0) in the No. 2 ranking.
