Atlanta Falcons draft Bijan Robinson
Surrounded by family, coaches, and friends, Bijan Robinson received a call from the Atlanta Falcon to welcome him into a new family and the Falcon had one request ——Bring some Terry Blacks BBQ with you.
Robinson becomes the 45th Longhorns in program history to be drafted in the first-round of the NFL and the sixth Texas Longhorn drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in Texas history.

Robinson received a phone call from Terry Fontendt to welcome him to the Falcons then put his coach Arthur Smith on the phone who welcomed Bijan then passed the phone to Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank. From that moment the Atlanta Falcons have opened their hearts to their new running back.
“All of those things make him truly special from a running back perspective. But on top of that, he’ll be an awesome teammate, great in their locker room, tremendous in the community and just someone that they’ll be so proud of to have in their organization. We absolutely love him so much here and can’t wait to watch him in the NFL.”

Bijan is a Persian name that means ‘Hero’.
