Davis was one of the most productive wide receivers in UT history. The 2013 All-Big 12 player ended his career fourth on the Texas all-time receptions list (200), fourth in receiving yards (2,753) and fifth in receiving TDs (18). He is one of only three players in school history with at least 200 receptions and more than 2,700 receiving yards (also Jordan Shipley and Roy Williams).
Fera was one of the top special teams player in the nation during 2013. He rebounded from an injury-plagued 2012 season to become a consensus All-American and a finalist for the 2013 Lou Groza Award, honoring the nation’s top place-kicker. Fera connected on 20 of 22 field-goal attempts (90.9 percent) in 2013. His accuracy ranks second on the UT all-time single-season list and was seventh nationally (minimum 20 attempts). Fera also averaged 40.7 yards per punt in 2013 with just three touchbacks.
Jeffcoat was another UT consensus All-American, in addition to capturing the Ted Hendricks Award as the nation’s top defensive end. During 2013, he led the team in tackles (86), TFLs (22), sacks (13.0) and QB pressures (19), and tied for first in fumbles recovered (3). He was the only FBS lineman to lead his team in tackles and ranked tied for third nationally in sacks (1.0 per game).
A former running back, Whaley was a key cog in the middle of the defensive line the last two seasons. He was a 2013 honorable mention All-Big 12 choice despite missing the last four games with a knee injury. Whaley was one of three Big 12 players in 2013 (also Kip Daily, Kansas State; Gabe Lynn, Oklahoma) to score a touchdown via interception (31 yards vs. Oklahoma) and fumble (40 yards vs. Kansas). He is the only defensive lineman in UT history to have two defensive TDs in the same season.
