The Texas Longhorns are undefeated in conference play and they intend to keep it that way. TCU may have a losing record, but[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_level2)]don’t let it fool you. They are a motivated team and will be ready to play.
Texas will once again rely on Case McCoy to lead manage the game and take his shots when he has them. After McCoy’s performance in the Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma, the concern surrounding McCoy’s talent is much lower than it previously was. The concern Mack Brown has for Saturday’s game does not have to do with who is starting at quarterback. Rather, if Texas’ confidence from beating Oklahoma will hurt the Longhorns chances against the Horned Frogs.
“I was happy we did not play last weekend,” Mack Brown said Monday. “I thought they (the team) were really full of themselves.”
