Kylie Collins and Lulu Sun fight to play in NCAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship

ORLANDO, Florida - In another heart-pounding nail-biting match against Virginia the University of Texas doubles pair Kylie Collins and Lulu Sun, both freshman, won against No. 21 Rosie Johanson and Emma Navarro in the NCAA Championship Semifinals at USTA. The final was 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-8).

Not since Cristina Moros and Farley Taylor in 1996 has has a pair reached NCAA doubles finals. Collins and Sun are playing to become the first University of Texas pair to win an NCAA doubles championship in the programs history.

Friday, following the final of the NCAA singles title match that starts at 11 A.M Central Collins and Sun will go against No 4 ranked Makenna Jones and Elizabeth Scotty from North Carolina.
