the doubles point at the first slot, where the 16th-ranked tandem of Breaunna Addison and Noel Scott notched an 8-4 win over Boston’s Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis and Jessi Linero. Lina Padegimaite and Annat Rabinovich finished off the doubles session with an 8-4 win at third doubles.
Ellis posted her 100th career singles win with her 6-2, 6-0 victory over Lauren Davis at first singles to give Texas a 2-0 lead. Padegimaite pushed the Texas lead to 3-0 with her 6-4, 6-2 win, and Scott clinched the Texas victory with her 6-4, 6-0 win at fourth singles.
The 50th-ranked Addison extended her winning streak to 10 matches with her 6-4, 6-0 victory over the Terriers’ Laszloffy at second singles.
“Aeriel gets to 100 wins — what can you say? She couldn’t have scripted it better for Senior Day,” head coach Patty Fendick-McCain said. “Aeriel has greatly impacted this program, and it’s great to see her having a strong senior season.”
