It is one thing for fans to flash the horns down sign. At least half the world does it because the other half of the world are fans of Texas Longhorns. Did you know there 5+ Million Texas Longhorns fans in the State of Texas according to a stat we have seen. The Big 12 Championship game was televised in Times Square and in 140 countries around the world. So yeah, half the world loves Texas Longhorns.
A couple days after the CFP committee announced that Texas was in the playoffs and ranked No. 3 ahead of No. 4 Alabama and pushing out undefeated FSU, professional football player and quarterback for the NFL NY Jets, Aaron Rodgers was on the Pat McAfee Show and expressed his feelings about Texas with the preverbial ‘Horns Down’ sign. – ON AIR!
Normally, we do not get involved in such petty childlike behavior. As one of our followers on Facebook said, “This post is beneath you, Horns Illustrated.” Our follow is right, however Aaron Rodgers is a professional football player, so we had to respond and even put a challenge in front of Mr. Rodgers. Here it is…
Quinn Ewers is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers was too! Aaron Rodgers throwing the Horns Down on the @PatMcAfeeShow
Listen Mr. ‘Hail Mary’ Rodgers – even McAfee took a few steps back and reminded you that Texas beat Bama. He was there…standing next to Matthew McConaughey in the end zone for that game.
Just to poke you in the eyes with your own horns down fingers…Quinn Ewers in his sophomore year (2023) was a better QB than you in your final year (2004).
Though, your reasons for the horns down is understandable. Losing to Texas Tech in the 2004 Holiday Bowl, the AP Poll situation, and now Texas again is in the playoffs going to the Sugar Bowl instead of the Rose Bowl.
Aaron, but why are you not made at FSU? If you are going to hold a grudge, FSU should be your grudge. | #HookEm #HornsUp
Aaron, how about this? If Texas wins the National Championship, you have to wear a Texas Longhorns Quinn Ewers Jersey on the
@PatMcAfeeShow We will buy the jersey and send it to you.
