Texas players Madisen Skinner, Asjia O’Neal, Logan Eggleston continued their warrior status. Skinner had 10 kills, O’Neal and Eggleston had nine each. O’Neal wreaked havoc with a hitting percentage of .615 and five blocks.

Round Two

The 2022 Big 12 Player of the Year, Logan Eggleston had nine kills and tied her career high five service aces (her 7th time doing so) while hitting .389. Eggleston now has 337 kills this season and 1,851 in her career.

Kentucky transfer sophomore Madisen Skinner from Katy, Texas played an outstanding match with nine kills and hitting .364. Skinner has 291 kills this season.

In each of the three sets Texas allowed Georgia to play close for about 10 points, then unleashed a torrent of unstoppable runs that never allowed Georgia back into the match.
