No. 25 Texas prepares for No. 12 OSU

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Longhorns have moved past Oklahoma completely focused on Oklahoma State this Saturday for an 11 a.m. kickoff at DKR.

Coach Sarkisian commented at Monday’s press conference saying, “that the fact that our fans showed up the way they did and had an impact in on the ballgame and we're going to need them again this Saturday here against Oklahoma State

We need our home field advantage to be that advantage but we got to get ourselves ready to play a quality football team here again Saturday if we want to accomplish the things that we're capable of accomplishing this fall. So, big game, good start to the week here with practice this morning.”

Texas, now 4-2, remains in the Top 25 NCAA College Football rankings at No. 25 behind No. 23 SMU, and No. 21 Texas A&M.

OSU remains undefeated (5-0) coming off a bye week. Since 1913, this is the 36th time meeting, last year Texas beat OSU in OT and has a 26-9 lead overall against. OSU is ranked No.12, Steve Sarkisian has not battled against Mike Gundy.

Texas is ranked 18th in total offense, 106th total defense and OSU is ranked 82nd in total offense, and 19th in total defense.

A win for Texas would be the 928th win all-time, the fourth-winningest program in the history of college football.
