Carpet Capital Collegiate en route to earning medalist honors in his college debut. Tabbed the National Player of the Week by both Golfweek and Golfworld magazines following his victory, Stone went on to tie for 16th place at the PING/Golfweek Preview. He also tied for 21st at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational during the fall campaign.
Stone is currently the third-ranked collegiate player per the Golfweek/Sagarin
Rankings. Additionally, he is the second Texas freshman to be named to the Ben
Hogan Award Watch List in as many years, following on the heels of Jordan Spieth.
