Of top ranked college football players who are from Texas, here are the seven six who have yet to commit or sign with a school. The highest ranked Texas player who has committed is OT 6’5” 290 ranked 33 Kelvin Banks of Summer Creek HS, Houston, Texas.

    6’4” 310 ranked ninth - position OT
  3. Denver Harris from North Shore HS, Houston, Texas
    6’1” 185 ranked 22 - position CB
  4. *Omari Abor from Duncanville HS, Duncanville, Texas
    6’4” 240 ranked 26 position DE (*has not visited Texas)
  5. (signed with Texas A&M) Kam Dewberry from Atascocita HS, Humble, Texas
    6’4” 315 ranked 107 position OT

Sarkisian keeps his word. Texas Longhorns have 15 committed players as of Wednesday Dec. 15 at 7 a.m. with 11 of those from Texas high schools. This is important because in Sarkisian’s first press conference there was concern he would not recruit from Texas and go out of state to get top recruits. Sarkisian kept his word.
