By finishing second in the PGA Championship, former University of Texas golfer Jordan Spieth leapfrogged Rory McIlroy to take over the top spot in the PGA’s Official World Golf Ranking this week.

Texas head coach John Fields said that he and his wife, Pearl, and the entire Longhorn community were joining in the celebration of Spieth’s ascent to the top of the world’s golf rankings. (Continue reading below...)
