Texas Men’s Basketball to Make Multiple Appearances on ESPN “Big Monday” Schedule
IRVING, Texas — The University of Texas will make at least two and possibly three appearances on ESPN’s “Big Monday” platform during the upcoming 2014-15 season, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday. The Longhorns will host Oklahoma on Jan. 5 on either ESPN or ESPN2 and also will appear on the platform in a road contest at Iowa State on Jan. 26.
The final Big Monday game on March 2 will feature a unique twist this year, as ESPN will have a “flex pick” between Baylor at Texas and Oklahoma at Iowa State. The network and the Big 12 Conference will determine in the weeks leading up to the March 2 game which contest will be on ESPN as part of Big Monday (8 p.m Central), and the other will be on ESPNU (6 p.m. Central).
The full composite Big 12 Conference schedule will be released at a later date.
