
WACO, Texas – Texas Longhorns played their most efficient football of the season to easily capture their first Big 12 Conference game win over Baylor 38-6.
Texas ran 11 drives, scores five touchdowns with a total offense of 503 yards. Jonathon Brooks carried the ball 18 times for 106 yards and scored two touchdowns. Ja’Tavion Sanders caught five passes for 110 yards. Texas threw 328 yards passing, 293 from Ewers and Worthy with 35 yards in the air.
Texas looked professional against a Baylor team that was not allowed to enter the end zone even though they got close, within 5 yards, twice.
Texas ran 11 drives, covered 503 yards of total offense and scored five touchdowns. The five touchdown drives in total spanned just 10:05 and were completed in 25 plays, covering 313 yards.
