Rachel Rane studied Radio, Television, and Film at The University of Texas and was the Coxswain on the Texas Rowing team who won the National Title NCAA Championship in 2021 and 2022. During her studies, Rane took a class called RTF 3670Q: Script-To-Screen with Academy Award Winner Matthew McConaughey.
Rane’s love for rowing started when she watched her sister race in a national championship regatta and then gave it a try as a freshman in high school at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill.
