KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Third-seeded Texas Soccer begins its quest for a Big 12 Championship title today with a 2 p.m. Central game against the sixth-seeded Oklahoma State Cowgirls at Swope Soccer Village.
On the line will be a trip to the Big 12 semifinal against the winner of No. 2 Texas Tech and No. 7 TCU. Texas has advanced to the tournament semifinals in three of the last four years. The Longhorns (12-5-2, 5-2-1 Big 12) finished the season third in the Big 12 and are in pursuit of their third conference tournament title (2006, 2007).
