Texas Softball defeats Texas Tech 2-1 in weekend Big 12 series
Texas Longhorns Softball defeated Texas Tech this weekend 2-1 in a three games series in its first full Big 12 weekend series of the season. Texas (23-16, 3-1 Big 12) faced Baylor in March for its Big 12 season opener for one game before the second game was postponed.
On Friday evening, the Longhorns defeated Texas Tech (28-14, 1-5 Big 12) in their Big 12 home opener 5-1.
