2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project Regional Round Pairings Announced

AUSTIN, Texas — The 2014-15 University of Texas Men’s Basketball schedule has been finalized with today’s announcement of Texas’ two opponents in the 2K Classic benefitting Wounded Warrior Project Regional Rounds. UT will host North Dakota State on Friday, Nov. 14 (tip time and TV info to be announced later) and Alcorn State on Sunday, Nov. 16 (7 p.m. Central tip, ESPNU).
As a regional host, Texas will automatically advance to the 2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project Championship Rounds in New York City along with California, Iowa and Syracuse. UT will face Iowa in the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 20 (6 p.m. Central, ESPN2) and play on Friday, Nov. 21 in the championship (6:30 p.m. Central, ESPN2) or consolation game (4 p.m. Central, ESPNU or ESPN2). All four games during the championship rounds in New York City will be played at historic Madison Square Garden.
