411OnTheForty: Eggleston earns third consecutive Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week award

For the third week in a row, Texas outside hitter Logan Eggleston has been named the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week.
Her play has been instrumental as the Longhorns have rolled to a 6-0 record with 10 matches left in the season.
The junior leads Texas in multiple offensive stat categories, including kills (99), points (115.0) and service aces (9). Her 5.21 kills per set is the best in the Big 12.
In two victories over Iowa State last Thursday and Friday in Austin, Eggleston totaled 30 kills, five blocks, five service aces and 15 digs. Texas did not lose a single set against the Cyclones.
Eggleston and the Horns journey north for two road duels against Kansas State. Texas and K-State will tip off at 8 p.m. Friday in a match that will be carried on ESPN2, and at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in a match that can be seen on ESPN+.
In addition, Texas retained its spot as the nation's No. 1 team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) top 25 rankings, which were released Wednesday. The Horns received 49 first-place votes. Big 12 foe Baylor remained at No. 2.
