The Texas men's and women's golf teams ended their fall seasons Wednesday at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta, Georgia. The men swept Big 12 foe Texas Tech, 5-0-0, on day three to finish third in the event, while the women fell to Florida, 4-0-1, to finish fourth.

The men, led by Christoffer Bring, dominated the Red Raiders, as Bring picked up a 6&5 win to close out the match. Cole Hammer, Parker Coody, Pierceson Coody and Travis Vick were all victorious; Vick was the only Texas golfer to reach the 18th hole.

It was a fitting conclusion to the event, in which Texas had posted solid results during stroke play on day one, but fell, 3-2, Tuesday to Oklahoma.

Pepperdine won the men's 2020 East Lake Cup title; Ole Miss won the women's title.

On the women's side, Hailee Cooper was the only point scorer for Texas in the match-play loss to the Gators. Cooper scored a half point for the Horns against Florida's Clara Manzalini.

It was the second straight loss for the team; the Horns fell by the same score Tuesday to Ole Miss.
