Texas goalkeeper Savannah Madden was named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week and was named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week after collecting a season-high 10 saves in UT's 1-0 win Friday over Baylor.

The shutout was Madden's fourth of the season.

In addition, she played a key role in the goal of the contest, in the game's fifth minute. Madden sent the ball to midfield on a goal kick, which Carlee Allen headed upfield to Cameron Brooks, who found the back of the net on the goal that proved to be the game winner.

Madden and the Longhorns (4-4-0), will try to move above .500 on the season when they take on Texas Tech in Lubbock Friday night in the final game of the season; the Big 12 will not hold a conference tournament.
