Only the Longhorns — which was tabbed as the top pick in the Big 12 Coaches’ Poll — and Baylor made it into the top 25, with the Bears ranked No. 20.

In addition to returning talent up and down the roster, Texas also welcomes 2019 Big 12 Preseason Freshman of the Year Skylar Fields into the fold this season.

Texas could be on its way to earning even more honors this season after Micaya White brought home the 2018 Big 12 Player of the Year award and Logan Eggleston was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year last season.

Stanford, Nebraska and Minnesota occupy the No. 1-3 spots on the preseason poll.

The team hosts its annual Orange-White Scrimmage this Saturday at 11 a.m., with the team’s youth clinic starting earlier in the morning. For more details on the free event, read here.
