AUSTIN, Texas — All 20 intercollegiate sports at the University of Texas exceeded the NCAA-mandated standard, according to the multi-year NCAA Div. I Academic Progress Rate (APR) released Tuesday.

Three programs — soccer, men’s tennis and women’s tennis — recorded perfect scores of 1,000 and earned public recognition awards last week, while the other 17 all scored at least 968.

The APR [s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_level2)]provides a real-time look at a team’s academic success by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete during the school year. The APR takes into account eligibility, retention and graduation in the calculation and provides a measure of each team’s academic performance. The APR is based on data submitted by the institution for the 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.
