Bijan Robinson Best Running Back in College Football

AUSTIN, Texas - For his accomplished on the football field, achievement in the classroom, and his citizenship in the community, the 2022 Doak Walker Award was presented to Bijan Robinson for being the best running back in college football.
His accomplishments on the field are well documented. Robinson became the fourth all-time leading rushing at the University of Texas and stands behind Earl Campbell, Cedric Benson, and Ricky Williams.
Robinson's family was present along with his wide receiver coach Tashard Choice.
A little over a year ago we compared Robinson to Barry Sander, Ricky Williams, and Derrick Henry, who also won the Doak Walker Award 2015, and asked coach Sarkisian his thoughts on those comparisons.
Sarkisian suggested we add on more person to that list.
On the field over his three years at Texas, Robinson rushed for 3,410 yards on 539 carries, scored 33 touchdowns. Receiving, Robinson had 0 receptions for 805 yards and eight touchdowns.
In the classroom, Robinson studied Film and Radio with is official major of Communications and Leadership.
Off the field, Robinson served the community in many ways. He donated hundreds of backpacks to stundent's at Harmony School of Excellence, and helped the homeless in Austin by teaming up with the Den Foundation who donated $5 for every yard Robinson ran to the help the Community First Village.
Robinson left no question about who he credits for his success. God is always the first words out of his mouth. The entire team was committed to prayer before, during, and after practices and games.
