Excitement is building for the 2016 Texas Football season, which officially opens on Sunday, Sept. 4 against Notre Dame in Austin. A limited number of season ticket packages remain; additional ticket options include mini plans, single games and group packages.
The University of Texas Box Office or StubHub, The Official Fan-to-Fan Ticket Marketplace of Texas Athletics, are the most secure ways to purchase or acquire valid tickets. Additionally, fans can receive a Texas Ticket Transfer from an existing Texas Football season ticket holder.
Because of the high demand for the Texas vs. Notre Dame game, counterfeit tickets could be circulated. Be cautious buying tickets from a ticket provider other than Texas or StubHub. Fuzzy printing, mismatched fonts or sloppy edges are clues that tickets might be fraudulent. Print-at-Home tickets are particularly susceptible to being duplicated and therefore have a higher likelihood of being fraudulent, if not purchased from Texas or our partners.
Also, be aware of legitimate tickets that have been voided, and therefore are not valid for entry due to being reprinted, reissued or transferred to another customer.
