Football

The University of Texas Longhorn football team defeated TCU 30-7 on the road in Ft. Worth on Saturday after a 3-hour long rain/lightning delay interrupted the first half. The Texas defense forced three turnovers in the victory and held the Horn Frog offense to 246 total yards.

Running back Malcolm Brown rushed for two touchdowns, while running back Johnathan Gray added for 94 yards on the ground. Sophomore Marcus Johnson had a career-game receiving, finishing with 120 yards and one touchdown catch. Case McCoy passed for 228 yards and threw one touchdown and two interceptions.

The Longhorns improve their overall record to 5-2, and are still undefeated in Big 12 play at 4-0.

Jackson Jeffcoat and Anthony Fera were named Big 12 Conferences Players of the Week on Monday after their efforts vs. the Horn Frogs.

Texas Longhorns Women's Basketball Single Game Tickets

The Longhorns will return to action when they host Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 2 at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

Volleyball

The No. 1 Texas Volleyball team swept Kansas State on Saturday evening 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-20). It marks the fifth time this season that the Longhorns have swept a Big 12 opponent.

The win extends the Longhorns' win streak to 11 straight, while the Longhorns are still undefeated in Big 12 Conference play at 8-0.

Bailey Webster and Haley Eckerman both finished with nine kills each in the victory over the Wildcats.

Texas returns to action Wednesday evening when it hosts TCU at Gregory Gym at 7 p.m. The match will be televised by Longhorn Network.

Tennis

Adrien Berkowicz won the singles title of the UT Invitational on Sunday after he defeated Mate Cutura of Tyler Junior College in three sets (6-7 [4], 6-3, 6-1). Berkowicz lead Tyler Junior College to a NJCAA Division 1 Title in 2013. Berkowicz recently transferred to Texas after finishing as one of the top-ranked junior college players.

Soccer

The No. 25 Texas Women's Soccer team defeated Stephen F. Austin 2-0 Friday night to finish off their non-conference schedule of the season.

Gabby Zarnegar scored the Longhorns' first goal in the sixth minute on a header off a corner kick by Sharis Lachappelle.

Julia Dyche added another goal for the Longhorns in the 68th minute on a goal from the top of the 18-yard box.

The Longhorns improve their record to 12-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the Big 12 Conference.

Texas will travel to Lubbock to play Texas Tech Friday, Nov. 1 to play in their final regular season match.
