Just plain wrong: 7 folks who were wrong on Saban heading to Texas

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama-- Rumors about Nick Saban taking the head coaching job at Texas swirled around the watercooler quicker than a shotgun marriage when some media outlets ran with suspicions of the famed coach possibly ditching the Tide for some rawhide at the University of Texas.

Since we now know for sure that Saban is staying put in Tuscaloosa, we're calling out the folks that jumped the gun and said that Saban was already picking out cowboy boots and orange scarves for his wife, Terry.

7. The guy who paged Saban at the Texas airport

Man, if this doesn't make you want to think of a good prank. A guy got an oblivious airport employee to page Nick Saban over the airport loudspeakers in Austin, Texas. Twitter blew up, even though Saban was in Ohio, recruiting for Alabama.

The airport is calling for a "Nick Saban" right now..... Wondering if he's here to visit Texas?
