KARA ANN (MCGRATH) CHAVEY - SWIMMING (1983-87)

An 11-time All-American and six-time honorable All-American mention, Kara Ann Chavey led the Texas swimming team to four consecutive NCAA team titles. She still stands as one of the top butterfly swimmers in school history. Following her freshman year, Chavey received the V.F. Neuhaus Endowed Presidential Scholarship, Texas’ highest endowed scholarship honor.
