More Longhorns headed to the NFL as undrafted free agents

Two members of the University of Texas football team were chosen in the NFL Draft this week when defensive end Charles Omenihu was selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round and cornerback Kris Boyd was picked in the seventh round by the Minnesota Vikings.
But those aren't the only Longhorns preparing to compete for roster spots in the NFL, because six other UT players have been snatched up as undrafted free agents.
