No. 2 Texas Volleyball selected to host NCAA First/Second Round matches Dec. 4-5

Texas Volleyball earned the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship and will host first- and second-round matches this week at Gregory Gym. The Longhorns welcome Arizona State, Texas A&M and Northwestern State, UT's first-round opponent, on Thursday and Friday (Dec. 4-5).

Fans may now purchase all-session and single-day tickets online at TexasSports.com/tickets, by calling 512-471-3333 or in person at the Bellmont Hall Ticket Office (Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.). Tickets based on availability.

Arizona State and Texas A&M will face off in the opening first-round match on Thursday at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Longhorns and Northwestern State at 7 p.m. The winner of the two first-round matches will meet in Friday's second round at 8 p.m., with the winner advancing on to the Minneapolis Regional, where it will face the winner of the Seattle (Washington) Sub-Regional in the NCAA "Sweet 16." Regional matches will be played Dec. 12 and 13. This marks the 11th straight year Texas has been selected as a sub-regional host site. Texas is a perfect 27-0 in first-round play and is the only school in the nation to advance to the NCAA Regional finals in each of the last eight NCAA Championships.

Parking

Fans are encouraged to purchase discount parking permits online in advance for $3 in the Speedway Garage and $5 in the Brazos Garage. Those who purchase online will receive their parking permit electronically via email. Online parking permits must be purchased by Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 10 p.m.
