No. 8 Texas takes on Texas Tech

AUSTIN, Texas — Home sweet sold out home
Taking aim at the top as the season winds down, No. 8 Texas Volleyball returns home for a crucial match today vs. Texas Tech at 1 pm at a sold out Gregory Gym. It’s the first of two consecutive home sellouts for the Longhorns.
Today also marks Texas’ Volley for a Cure match at Gregory. The game will also broadcast on The Longhorn Network and streaming online for those who can’t get inside.
Coming off of a win, the Horns bounced back with a five-set win over Oklahoma last weekend. Junior Micaya White led the Longhorns with 17 kills and eight digs, senior Morgan Johnson led with 12 kills, hitting .524 and five blocks, and freshman Logan Eggleston posted 11 kills, six blocks, and four digs. Sophomore Ashley Shook had 42 assists and 12 digs, freshman Sydney Petersen led in digs with 18, and freshman Brionne Butler finished with 10 blocks.
