Trinity High School (Euless, TX) Offensive Guard Patrick Vahe, has committed to the University of Texas, after attending the inaugural Longhorn Stampede on campus yesterday. Vahe becomes commit #8 in the 2015 class and joins an impressive set of offensive line recruits. Offensive tackles Aaron Garza (Sherman) , Maea Teuhema (Keller) and Connor Lanfear (Buda) have already pledged to play football for the Longhorns.

In an interview with ESPN, Vahe said, “It feels amazing ... It feels good. I’m very blessed.”

Vahe, 6-4, 290 lbs., received an offer from the Longhorns in early May.

The Texas offer was the only one Vahe received. Vahe earned All-American honors as a Sophomore at Trinity and it is surprising he did not receive more offers.  The kid is big and is very fast for a person his size.

Vahe is currently ranked #21 in Lone Star Recruiting’s Top 100 for 2015.
