The Texas Longhorns came up short in their quest for their first Big 12 title since 2009. For now the locks on Breckyn Hager’s head will remain intact as Texas fell to Oklahoma 39-27 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. With the game tied at 27 through the first 3 quarters, as has been the case for much of the season Texas was outscored 12-0 in the 4th quarter to account for the final score. Texas will most likely move on to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on New Years Day.
