Matteo Bocchi pitched 5 strong innings, Parker Joe Robinson pitched a gutsy 2 2/3 innings of relief and Nolan Kingham closed out the 9th as the Longhorns were able to shut down one of the most prolific offenses in College baseball holding the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles to just 2 runs on 5 hits. That along with contributions at the plate from DJ Patrinsky, Ryan Reynolds and Kody Clemens earned Texas their 36th trip to the College World Series in Omaha.
