Taylor Hoagland Named Co-Big 12 Player Of The Week

Texas junior Taylor Hoagland was named Co-Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, earning her first-ever weekly nod. Hoagland went 5-for-8 (.625) with three home runs, five RBI and a 1.750 slugging percentage as the Longhorns earned the Lone Star Showdown series win over Texas A&M.

She had two hits in Thursday’s loss in College Station, but played a key in two one-run wins at McCombs Field. She hit a homer in Saturday’s game as the Longhorns rallied from a 6-1 deficit to win by a 7-6 score. On Sunday, she hit two home runs in a game for the fourth time this season as she collected three RBI in the 4-3 victory.
