Texas Football beats ULM 52-10 in season opener
AUSTIN, Texas — in the first game of the 2022 season, Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns deliver a win against ULM 52-10 in a game that was controlled, however revealed Texas’ areas of strength and their weaknesses.

After meeting with the media after the game, Ewers tweeted out that his car was towed.

Bijan Robinson had a total of 111 yards, 71 rushing on 10 carries and 40 yards on three catches and two touchdowns. Ja’Tavion Sanders was powerful delivering 85 yards receiving and he caught 100% of his six passes that included one touchdown. Jonathan Brooks had a touchdown with six carries and 32 yards rushing.
Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown dominated with eight tackles (6 solo) and two of those for a loss. Barryn Sorrel had six tackles and two for a loss also. The Texas defense had a total of 77 tackles, 33 solo, and eight for a loss of 41 yards.
Texas put up 383 yards of total offense, 249 passing, 134 rushing, had 22 first downs, averaged 6.6 yards per play, were 6-7 in the red zone, and controlled the game for 24:34 minutes.
