Texas Longhorns Game 1 – Colorado State

The excitement level in and around Texas is electric. The day has come, practice is over, it’s game time.

We get to DKR three hours early to capture the atmosphere along Bevo Blvd and get setup in the press box, then watch the teams arrive and get warmed up.

We are handed the depth chart for the game and there are a few surprised. QB: Ewers, Manning, Owens, RB: Blue, Wisner, Gibson, WR(Z) Golden, Bolden, WR(H): Moore, Cook II, Niblett, WR(X): Bond, Wingo, Livingstone, ad TE: Helm, Davis, Niblack. The offensive line has at LT: Banks, Goosby, Agbo, LG: Conner, Umeozulu, Chatman, C: Majors, Conner, Robertson, RG: Campbell, Hutson, Kibble, RT: Williams, Baker, Cojoe

On defense Jahdae Barron and Malik Muhammad are at the corners, Michael Taaffe will be the free safety.

Silas Bolden will be the punt returner and kick returner.
