
AUSTIN, Texas — Like life, sports comes at you fast. At the University of Texas, sports comes at you faster.
At the lunch hour, Texas Women’s Basketball coach Vic Schaefer is holding a media availability with seniors Audrey Warren and Joanne Allen-Taylor at 12:50 p.m. On March 5 at 1 p.m. Texas plays their last home game of the regular season at the Frank Erwin Center.
For this game, Texas has spared nothing to provide an amazing fan experience. Tickets are $1. Coach Schaefer, Michael Huff, former UT football player currently on Sarkisian’s staff, and Nyle Maxwell family of car dealerships have donated $10,000 each to the Neighborhood Longhorns Program if 10,000 fans show up for the game on Saturday. Tonight Texas Software is at Alabama for the T-Mobile Crimson Classic with a 6 p.m. start. Texas Softball is on a five-game winning streak.
No. 1 Texas Baseball is in Houston, TX for the Shriners Hospitals For Children College Classic. The first game is against Tennessee at 7 p.m. Texas is undefeated this season. Texas will start lefthander Pete Hansen on Friday, Tristan Stevens on Saturday, and Tanner Witt on Sunday.
Saturday there are 8 Texas sports games happening.
