STILLWATER, Oklahoma — Forward Cyera Hintzen scored her ninth goal of the season in the 77th minute to help the No. 8 Texas Longhorns rally from a goal down to tie No. 13 Oklahoma State Friday night.

The Longhorns were playing catch-up ever since the 23rd minute, when a UT “own goal” spotted the Cowgirls a 1-0 lead. UT’s eight-game winning streak came to an end, but the Longhorns remain one of just eight teams (along with Washington State, Florida-Gulf Coast, Georgetown, UC-Riverside, Colorado, USC and Stanford) without a single loss this season. Oklahoma State’s winning streak ended at seven games.

Texas now is 9-0-2 overall and 1-0-1 in games against Big 12 opponents. Oklahoma State is 10-1-1 overall and 2-0-1 in Big 12 games.

Texas outshot Oklahoma State, 18-14, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal.

For the second consecutive game, Texas was without two international starters: freshman defender Emma Regan and freshman midfielder Julia Grosso are training with the Canadian Women’s Senior National Team for the CONCACAF Women’s Championship.

The Longhorns return to action at 1 pm Sunday when they face TCU in Fort Worth.
