Texas takes first game of NCAA Regionals with 10-0 win over Texas Southern

Texas takes their first game in the Regional playoffs beating Texas Southern University 10 - 0 behind a strong night of pitching by Chase Shugart. Shugart worked 6 innings scattering 4 hits with no walks and he struck out 5. Matteo Bocchi closed out the final 3 innings allowing only 1 hit while striking out 6 and allowing no walks. Texas takes on Texas A&M on Saturday night after the Aggies defeated the Indiana Hoosiers 10 - 3 in the first game on Friday.
