AUSTIN, Texas — Tonight at 6:30 p.m. No. 2 Texas Volleyball hosts No. 15 Washington for the NCAA Regional at Gregory Gym that is SOLD OUT.

Texas holds the longest active streak in the country with tonight’s 16th-consecutive NCAA Regional Semifinal. In the past 32 previous Regional Semifinals, Texas has moved to the NCAA Regional Finals 25 times, NCAA Semifinals 14 times, and eight National Championship matches.

Gregory Gym is SOLD OUT for Texas vs Washington. We will have to wait until after the match to see the official count. The third largest crowd at Gregory Gym was 4,422 fans just a couple weeks ago against Oklahoma. Horns Illustrated predicts 4,504.

Washington will make Texas earn every point. Washington's record this season is 26-4 (17-3 Pac-12). Six times in their Pac-12 teams are ranked in the Top 25. Washington is battle tested.
For those not able to attend, you can watch on ESPNU.

I like exploring the why's and have three objectives. First is to give value to those who would spend time with our content. Second is to be respectful of others and for the opportunity to tell a positive story about all of the Texas Longhorns teams, players, and coaches regardless of their record. Lastly, to put wind in the sails of others using the Horns Illustrated platform. Life is GOOD!
