Texas was considered the underdog coming into the NCAA Champion, however Texas dominated. Ranked No. 2 Texas beat No. 1 Nebraska 3-0 to win their back-to-back NCAA Championship.

Six year player Asjia O’Neal served the final point, an ACE and here fifth of the match. O’Neal’s NBA start father was there to see his daughter and said to her that this is what it looks like to trust the process.

O’Neal commented after the match when asked about her serves saying, “It was crazy. I was in disbelief for a second, but you know what I have confidence in myself, so I’m just going to back and play my good serve, and it worked!”
