Before the Sugar Bowl, Texas had media day at The Superdome where we got to talk with coaches, players, and ESPN College Football Analyst, Greg McElroy who will be calling his first College Football Playoff game
Everyone knows that Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is one of the top play callers in college football and he is backed by a staff of coaching juggernauts. McElroy and Sarkisian have known each other for some time and Sarkisian has been on McElroy’s podcast (Always College Football) a couple times since it started last year. The big question that McElroy answers is WHY Sarkisian is such a great play caller.
McElroy gives specifics of what Sarkisian does in game and how he matches up players to discover what plays to call throughout the game. It’s incredible.
