411OnTheForty: Fields Named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week
Following the Big 12 title-clinching victory over West Virginia, Texas volleyball's Skylar Fields was named the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week.
Her performance in Texas' final two matches of the fall slate was nothing short of incredible, as she tallied 27 kills, averaged 3.86 kills per set and hit .333 over two matches. The sophomore also added nine blocks and seven digs.
It was her first Big 12 weekly honor of the season, and her sixth while on the Forty Acres.

With UT's sweep of West Virginia, the Horns won the Big 12 regular-season championship and earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament, which is set to be contested in the spring.
In addition, it was announced Tuesday that the Longhorns' postponed matches against TCU were among four series moved to the early spring. Texas is 14-0 this season, overall and against Big 12 opponents, and has a three-match edge over 11-3 Baylor, so no matter what happens in the postponed matches against TCU, the Longhorns are conference champions.
